About Sewing Lara

I discovered the love for sewing at the age of six. I made my own stuffed animals and dressed my dolls. At some point, I started modifying and making my own clothes.

 

I learned form the best: my mother has been an incredibly skilled seamstres. She thought me all the fine skills and tricks. Even though I never received any formal training, I have over 36 years of experience in sewing and designing. I worked for 3 years as the head designer for the fashion label Mondberg. I would like to pass this experience and many practical hacks on you.

 

My mission is to make hobby sewing lessons accessible to everyone. Therefore, I created my creative YouTube channel Sewing Lara.

You will find all kinds of tutorials on my channel. You can learn sewing step by step with easy beginner-friendly tutorials. Once you mastered the basics, you can enjoy intermediate and advanced tutorials. I also occasionally post other creative projects that don't involve sewing. However, sewing is my true passion.
